The staff were all helpful and polite. They went out of their way to make our stay really special. I asked at short notice if a small celebration cake could be added to the evening meal for my partner's birthday. It was too late to prepare that, but still they presented her with a small gift at the end of the meal, beautifully wrapped, which was so unexpected! The Japanese breakfasts were delicious and each ingredient was introduced and explained. The evening meal was wonderful, one of the best meals this month in Japan. The room with western beds and a japanese room was very comfy and clean and the onsen was perfect for a small hotel. Overall the hotel was so relaxing and we felt welcome, even though we only spoke a little Japanese. The beach in front was idyllic and the ceramic shops were great, having a chance to meet the ceramicists . The best hotel vidit so far! Thank you!

Only a 1-minute walk from JR Shin Yamaguchi Train Station, Comfort Hotel Shin Yamaguchi offers modern rooms. It features free Wi-Fi and a launderette. The location is extremely convenient, which is around 5-minute walk from the Shinkansen exit of Shin-Yamaguchi station (a little bit nearer for the local train exit). There was not much food to choose from for the breakfast but the food was yummy (I like the healthy fruit juice/smoothie which varies from day to day). They have a washing machine which is necessary for travelers not bringing too many clothes. Overall, this hotel is just great.
