Boasting a shared lounge and free WiFi, 森の宿 ビヨルク is located in Myoko. Bjork was very comfortable, clean and stylish. It is nestled in the middle of the woods so some of the windows framed the natural beauty of the Myoko area. The couple who run the place are meticulous about every detail and you feel well taken care of from the first moment to the last. We ordered the breakfast both mornings and it was delicious and satisfying. It was nice to come back to the smell of a fireplace after a day on the hills. We will return there if we go back to Myoko in the future.

Located within 200 metres of Akakura Onsen Ski Area and 7 km of Myokosuginohara Ski Area, The Address Akakura features rooms in Myoko. All rooms boast a kitchenette and a private bathroom. Amazing hotel with friendly staff and in a perfect location. very short walk to the ski area and close walk to great restaurants and pubs around the town. Driver picked us up from the train station which was very helpful. Staff assisted us in finding best way to our next location in japan. Also staff were very helpful with booking us into restaurants.

Refre Hotel has a very cozy and welcoming atmosphere!! They served a delicious and healthy breakfasts and even served made to order omelets. We enjoyed the onsen, and were very close to the ski rental shop just a few minutes walk away. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The owners couldn’t have been more welcoming!!

Located near the centre of Akakura and only a 5-minute walk to ski lifts, Hotel Myosen offers accommodation with separate hot spring baths for male and female. Our stay at Hotel Myosen was exceptional. We loved the breakfast each morning, the quiet building, comfortable beds and most of all the natural mineral water onsen. Soaking after a day of skiing was a treat. The staff was very helpful with directions to get there and also helped us ship our giant ski bags onward. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would recommend Myosen to anyone.

Hotel Tae Windsor is set in Myoko, less than 1 km from Akakura Onsen Ski Area, and has a garden and a shared lounge. Each accommodation at the 3-star hotel has mountain views and free WiFi. The owners and staff are extremely kind, friendly and helpful, they made us very welcome all the time throughout our stay. Surprised by the stuff organised by the hotel during Xmas and the New Year, which we had a good time. Despite visiting the area the first time, we did not face any difficulties thanks to the helpful member of staff. Cosy environment which made us feel like home. Would definitely recommend this place to others. Location is brilliant as well.
