I liked everything about this hotel but my most favorite part was that we could walk barefoot in the entire hotel, a lot more hotels could do that. The check-in was smooth, our luggage was placed in our room by the staff, staff who was friendly and helpful during our entire stay there. The room was clean and the dimensions perfect, not too small (there's a nook big enough to fit 2 huge suitcases) - plus, we had a view of the train tracks which for us is a plus (if you close the windows the noise from the train is diminished so no problem here). They have this amazing onsen that you can use from 3PM until 10AM (one of the pools is built under the open sky which is the best thing when it comes to onsens); after taking a bath you can check their pretty extensive manga collection (there are chairs and a desk where you can sit and read to your heart's content) and have ice cream (for free). You can have free coffee and juice and also a free late evening snack (soba/ramen mostly). 5 mins walk from the train station. Seriously, I can't imagine what is there not to like about this hotel (considering also the price which is more than fair).

Jon and the team were so helpful and nice! He picked us up from the station the first day. The room was clean and comfortable for the two of us. The included breakfast was great, and alternated between Western and Japanese style. This is the perfect spot if you’re skiing Goryu as it’s a quick 10 min walk to the hill. The recommendation and discount for Cherry Rentals nearby was also appreciated. The lower level onsen was a great way to relax after a long day on the slopes. They also offer dinner (we had the Nabe hot pot) which was a great and tasty way to finish off the trip. Would recommend and stay again! Thanks!

The dinner and breakfast provided by the hotel, is the best Japanese meals my family ever had, It's very delicious and fresh, we enjoyed and finished everything in our plates. The onsen is not big but very nice, it has 2 onsen - one outdoor and one indoor, both are very warm and fantastic feel, especially after ski.

LA UBICACIÓN: Está ubicado exactamente en frente de la estación de Nagano. Cruzas una pista y ahí está. Por lo que no debes caminar mucho entre el hotel y la estación de tren. LAS INSTALACIONES/LA HABITACIÓN: La recepción se encuentra en el 4to piso y las habitaciones son del 5to para arriba. La recepción (lobby) está impecable y bien acomodado. La habitación es espaciosa y cuenta con todos los implementos necesarios para tener una cómoda noche.

The rustic cottage is in beautiful area and very clean and comfortable. The host and his wife were wonderful and so hospitable. They are some of the nicest people we have met on our trip! They even came to pick us up at the station and drove us to a late lunch after when they found out we had a long day and hadn’t eaten. We also enjoyed the peaceful surroundings! Thank you so much for making our stay for our son’s graduation at ISAK even more memorable😃
